 Kourosh Tahami was born in Tehran. As a child, he wanted to become a doctor to treat his sick grandmother but in his teenage years, he became infatuated with flying and acting. He received his BA in Theater from Islamic Azad University. He appeared in dramas including Heart of Stone and Under the Blade. His films include This Woman Won’t Talk, Saint Mary, and The Purple for which he won a Fajr International Film Festival Crystal Symorgh for Best Actor in a Supporting Role in 2010.
