Goli Ameri born September 26, 1956 is an Iranian-American diplomat and businesswoman from the U.S. state of Oregon. She is the President and CEO of the Center for Global Engagement, a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering engagement between U.S. society and the rest of the world with a view to promoting shared values and common interests and increasing mutual understanding and respect. She is also the former U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for Educational and Cultural Affairs. She ran for the U.S. House of Representatives as a Republican in 2004, and is a former U.S. Representative to the United Nations.
The Progress party (FrP) in Norway, which Mr. Keshvari is a member of, is an extreme right party and is known as one of the “racist” parties in Europe. It is a party like the Nazi-party in Germany.The party’s former leader Carl Ivar Hagen was well known for his many controversial speeches and interviews in which he generally blamed foreigners and specially Muslims for every problem in Norway. He once said that the Norwegian government has to castrate all Muslim men in Norway to eliminate their chances of reproduction!! He also supported a former deputy leader Terje Sørviknes who admitted to rape a minor girl party member in 2001. He referred to him as FrP’s crown prince! In October 16th 2013, Progress party (FrP), together with Conservative party (Høyre), established Norway’s 61st Cabinet. Maziar Keshvari – member of the Progress party and Storting – is unfortunately NOT a good example for Iranians to be proud of!
