The largest man-made structure in the world, the Great Wall of China has been around for over 2,000 years. China’s main tourist attraction is in danger due to recent over-farming, which has led to nearly two-thirds of the wall being damaged or destroyed. Natural erosion and human damage have destroyed about two thousand kilometers(thirty percent) of the wall. Erosion may leave the wall in ruins within the next 20 years if nothing is done to preserve it.
