Just as the Day-Date was reintroduced this year, the ladies version also got a fresh coat of paint for 2015. Produced through a dual process that involves printing a motif on a traditional sunray finish, the new chocolate dial color is complemented by diamond hour markers, with a special diamond and rose gold Roman numeral for 9 o’clock. Functions include hours and minutes, as well as a central chronograph hand and a date window at 3 o’clock. The Lady-Datejust 28 is equipped with the caliber 2236, a new COSC-certified self-winding mechanical chronograph movement developed and produced by Rolex. It is housed in a 28mm case, with the brand’s characteristically shaped middle case crafted from a solid block of Rolex’s proprietary Everose gold, and can be completed by either a President bracelet (identical to the one on the Day-Date) or a Jubilee bracelet.
