The Best Women’s Watches from Baselworld 2015

This year Chopard celebrates the 20th anniversary of its Happy Sport model, which is adapted here in a playful marine-themed variant. The “Métiers d’Art” Happy Fish begins with a sea of snow-set blue sapphires, with the signature free-floating diamonds dancing joyfully in the waves. The star of the dial is the eponymous fish, which is rendered in turquoise mother of pearl and shimmering gold, with a red jasper eye. It is housed in a 36mm 18K rose gold case with a bezel set with three alternating sizes of diamonds, and fitted with a white alligator leather strap. The mechanical self-winding movement, which gives the “Métiers d’Art” Happy Fish a 42-hour power reserve, is visible via the sapphire crystal case back.
