If you’re a real stickler, you can make sure to travel with licensed cabbies, who drive either yellow or green cars or have an official-looking sticker on their windshield. But most people don’t seem to care. And you won’t either. In metro lingo, getting to where you need to go might involve “transferring” from one taxi terminal (or hotspot) to another. But that’s only if you have the routes memorised.
