Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern unveils memorial at Christchurch’s Masjid An-Nur

Its unveiling fulfils the wish of the mosque’s imam, Gamal Fouda, who spoke eloquently of the Muslim community’s strength in the weeks after the attack. Speaking outside the mosque at the unveiling, Fouda said the terrorist attack had for so many been “one of the toughest times of our lives”.
