The breath of God does indeed produce ice. A spectacular church made entirely from frozen water has been blessed on top of a rural Romanian mountain. Orthodox, Catholic and Protestant priests held a special service at the so-called “Ice Church” last week. The astonishing structure, which is built from scratch each winter, stands at 6,500-feet high in the Balea Lac resort, northwest of Bucharest, according to Catholic Herald. Created out of chunks of ice, which are then cut and cemented together with water and snow, it is a carbon copy of an old church in Transylvania.
