“I said, ‘Let’s start with a classic bottle’. Then it just grew in a very organic way, where I just started picking up pieces and putting things together and chopping them up,” reveals Jacobs. “I think it really does have that eclecticism, the whimsy, the charm, the surprise. Randomly taking things and putting them together to create something new is very much my approach to making art and fashion. I like to look back at something classic and bring in a new eye to reinterpret that.”
