List of Iranian Americans Professors at American Universities

 Nader Pourmand is Professor of Biomolecular Engineering, and director of the UCSC Genome Technology Center at the University of California Santa Cruz, Baskin School of Engineering. Pourmand also leads the Biosensors and Nano/Bioelectrical Technology Group at the UCSC Baskin School of Engineering. The lab’s primary goal is to further develop biological and electrical technologies that aid in the study of genes and proteins. Pourmand and his team hold over twenty patents and publish over eighty peer-reviewed scientific journals While at Stanford University.
