Highlights of Assembly of Experts in this week

The members of this assembly are jurists, not theologians. This is a very important difference. According to the Iranian Constitution, the assembly is in charge of supervising,[citation needed] dismissing and electing the Supreme Leader. In the event of his death, resignation or dismissal, the Experts shall take steps within the shortest possible time to appoint a new Leader.
