Mehdi Mohammadifard and Arshiya Takdestan, among those arrested in the recent protests in Nowshahr “on the charge of muharibeh and corruption in the earth” due to “the destruction of property in a way that caused severe disturbance in the country’s public order, insecurity, and major damage to public property,” were sentenced to death in the Mazandaran Revolutionary Court.
