12 Biggest Malls in the World

The original SM Megamall was opened in 1989. After several reconstructions and enlargements, today it is the biggest mall in the Philippines. Its latest improvement dates from 2014 when the Mega Fashion Hall was added. SM Megamall boasts more than 1200 stores. In 2013, it was a scene of a Hollywood-style robbery when the Martilyo Gang hit a jewelry store inside the mall.
